Our compensation policy*
Fortunately delays are rare, but Eurostar operates a generous compensation policy for delays that fall within our sphere of control. Not all delays are eligible for compensation, however, if the train you were on qualifies, the Train Manager will usually announce this before you disembark. For delays of more than an hour on trains to Calais, Lille, Paris, Brussels and Disneyland we offer a complimentary one-way journey in the same class of travel as your original ticket, or 50% discount off any return fare in the same class of travel.
 
To redeem this offer, all you need to do is retain your original ticket and contact us by phone within a year of your delayed trip when you know when you want to travel, on 01777 77 78 79.
 
*Please note that our direct ski and Avignon services have a different compensation trigger and that all compensation bookings are subject to availability
