Indirect travel to Avignon

At all times other than between 11 July and 12 September you can reach Avignon by taking the Eurostar to Paris or Lille, making one simple change and catching a TGV the rest of the way to Avignon TGV station.
Avignon TGV Station is on the outskirts of town, about 1.8 miles (3km) to the south, between the ring road and the River Durance. A shuttle bus runs into town every 15 minutes and you can also pick up a taxi or hire a car from one of the rental companies located at the station.
As with our direct summer services you can choose to travel from St Pancras International or Ashford International, as well as from Ebbsfleet international. This stunning station is our second home in Kent, and is located just a few minutes from junction 2 of the M25 and the Bluewater Shopping Centre, putting it within easy reach of people throughout the South East. On average, trains from Ebbsfleet to Paris and Lille take around 10 minutes less than train from London.
