Skiing in Switzerland

Covering nearly two thirds of Switzerland’s surface area and comprising some of the highest mountains throughout the entire Alpine range, it’s no wonder the Swiss Alps are often thought of as the epitome of European skiing. Spectacular tree-lined slopes and picture perfect village resorts combine to create an idyllic skiing experience that simply can’t be found anywhere else.
Thankfully you can now book easy, relaxing train travel with simple connections all the way to a variety of Swiss ski resorts, including such snowy gems as Verbier and Zermatt, and enjoy spectacular views of the Swiss countryside all the way to your destination.
Below you’ll see a list of the resorts you can reach via Paris, along with details of how to do so. To book your journey to these destinations you’ll need to book your travel to Paris first and then book your onward ticket from Paris to your ski destination separately. You can make both of these bookings right here on eurostar.com from 19 September 2009, for travel from 18 December 2009 until 28 March 2010.
