The last Bank Holiday of the year so make sure you make the most of it! We have some fantastic deals for our most popular destinations and have discovered some events and attractions that you could enjoy whilst visiting. Take a look below…
Paris
From the end of August to the beginning of September, located by Métro Menilmontant, Paris' Festival des Idéo returns to the stage of La Bellevilloise. There's something for everyone at this summer festival from club nights and digital art installations to children's drama workshops. Screenings of old silent movie classics, among them Frankenstein, are given a whole new makeover by the addition of an acoustic or electro soundtrack. There are also deckchairs and hammocks for chilling out upstairs in La Bellevilloise's huge loft, plus a virtual reality room packed with multimedia installations.
Something else, which runs from April to September is Georges-Ville Farm (Ferme de Paris) found by Métro Château de Vincennes. The farm gives you the chance to get back to nature and to get up close to all manner of animals, and once they've made some furry friends, there's plenty of green space to go exploring. This little piece of countryside in the heart of the urban jungle is free to enjoy.
