Eurostar Check-In

Ticket collection
You can either print your tickets at home or collect them at our terminal. If you’re collecting them you’ll need to go to our in-station ticket offices, or make use of one of our quick and easy e-ticket machines.

At the check-in barriers
When you arrive at the check-in barriers you can either insert your ticket into the machine or, if you’re feeling particularly modern, simply scan in. And don’t worry, if that sounds worryingly technical you can check out our handy animated guide to scanning in here.
If you need any help at check-in our staff are always around, and we’ll be glad to check you in ourselves.
Baggage
There isn’t a separate check-in for baggage at Eurostar (as long as you haven’t got more than two bags or cases and one piece of hand luggage).
We can explain everything here.
When to check in
This depends mainly on what ticket you have. Unless you’ve been advised otherwise please check in at least 30 minutes or up to 90 minutes before your scheduled departure. You’ll see the full details below but remember that if in doubt, arrive with time to spare. And have a croissant.
