What is an interlining fare?
The connection scheme came about as a result of a partnership between Eurostar and several UK train operating companies, with the goal of allowing passengers to travel from any of over 100 UK stations to dozens of Continental destinations, paying just one price for the entire journey*. Hop on a train to London, and then head for St Pancras International, a superbly connected station with a host of National Rail and London Underground lines. From here you take the Eurostar to the Continent and you can then connect with other train services to a range of different destinations in Europe.

*Separate terms and conditions apply to the domestic and Eurostar legs of your journey

When can I travel?
You can travel any day you wish, apart from Christmas Day when we do not operate services (even our trains need a holiday).

How can I book?
You can either book online or via our Contact Centre. In the case of online bookings you will be able to book, collect your National Rail, Eurostar and TGV tickets from self-service ticket machines and travel – all on the same day. Should you book via our Contact Centre please allow time for the tickets to be posted to your home address. This should take no more than 3-5 working days but we’d recommend that you allow longer if possible.

How do I find out about prices?
You can see what prices are available to you as you book online. Alternatively, you can call our Contact Centre on 08705 186186. An agent will be able to help plan your itinerary and advise you fully of the fares available on different services.

How to find the best prices?
Train tickets are available up to 84 days before departure, and for access to the lowest fares it is advisable to book as far in advance as possible. The lowest fares are widely available for midweek arrivals into London from between 11am - 3pm, or on Saturdays on all trains after midday.

Where can I travel from?
You can book to travel from over 100 stations across the UK all the way to your European destination (and back if you are making a return journey). For example, you could travel all the way from Peterborough to Paris, Manchester to Marseille or even Aberdeen to Avignon, paying just one price in each instance*. As time progresses you will be able to travel to the Continent on one fare from more and more UK stations so keep checking our website for updates. You can find out which UK stations are participating in the scheme today by checking out our Travel Information. Alternatively, you can call a member of our Contact Centre team on 08705 186186 for advice if your station is not yet included in the through fare scheme.

Which destinations can I travel to?
There’s a huge choice. As well as Paris, Brussels and Lille, there are daily services direct to the gates of the magical Disneyland® Resort Paris, as well as seasonal services to the beautiful Provence town of Avignon and the French Alps during the ski season. You can also travel to dozens of provincial destinations all over France and Belgium by connecting with the TGV network at Lille or Paris and local services in Brussels. In each instance, you only need to pay one price for your entire journey but different conditions of carriage will apply to each different train service you use. For more information check out our Destinations guides or alternatively call a member of our Contact Centre on 08705 186186.

How many tickets will I receive?
Each passenger will receive a ticket for each direction of the National Rail leg of the journey, a ticket for each direction of the Eurostar leg of the journey and, when travelling to a Continental destination via connecting TGV services from Paris and Lille, a ticket for each leg of the TGV journey. If you need to change in Brussels to reach your final destination, please remember that your Eurostar tickets are valid to any Belgian station and you can use them on local services to and from Brussels Midi station within 24 hours of your Eurostar journey (in each direction). However, provided you are travelling to any of these destinations from over 100 plus participating UK stations, you will still only need to pay one price for your entire journey.

How do I receive my tickets?
If you book online you will be sent an e-mail following your booking which will provide you with two reference codes; the first should be used to collect your National Rail tickets from self-service ticket machines at a participating National Rail station, the second should be used to collect your Eurostar tickets (and your connecting TGV tickets if necessary) from the e-ticketing machines at St Pancras International. However, if you’d prefer to book via our Contact Centre on 08705 186186 you will receive the National Rail and Eurostar tickets (and TGV tickets if necessary) by mail.

Are there any private car transfer services you could recommend for the transfer between Euston and St Pancras International?
Eurostar can indeed recommend a private car transfer service for customers needing to travel between Euston and St Pancras International. We have chosen to work with the company ecoigo as part of our ongoing commitments to our Tread Lightly environmental campaign. ecoigo operates a meet and greet transfer service using a fleet of Toyota Prius vehicles featuring the cleanest and most advanced engine technology available. ecoigo also offsets more than double its emissions from any journey. We believe that our partnership with ecoigo will serve the needs of those customers who are anxious about making connections between stations, particularly when travelling with children, heavy luggage or late at night. To book this service, please contact ecoigo on 0207 833 8008 in order to arrange for a pick-up time and location at either Euston or St Pancras stations. Please note that transfers cost £15 in each direction (price includes the parking fee), which will need to be paid in advance by credit or debit card, and at least 24 hours notice is required to assure availability.
