Railteam is not a new, separate entity in itself. Rather it is an alliance of the following high-speed rail operators who all share the same goal of making rail the first choice for travel across Europe, with seamless, easy connections:

  • DB (Germany)
  • SNCF (France)
  • Eurostar (UK, France and Belgium)
  • NS Hispeed (Netherlands)
  • ÖBB (Austria)
  • SBB (Switzerland)
  • SNCB (Belgium)

Whatever high-speed train you travel on, be it an ICE, TGV, Eurostar, Thalys, TGV Lyria or Railjet, you’ll find that all these operators have a commitment to high standards of comfort, punctuality and reliability.

What to expect:

Railteam information points: At Railteam hubs (Brussels-Midi/Zuid, Lille Europe, Frankfurt, Cologne, Stuttgart) and major stations (Paris Gare du Nord and Amsterdam) you’ll find helpful information points to answer any questions or concerns. The staff on hand all speak at least English as well as the language or languages of the country concerned.

Hop on the next train: If the first leg of your Railteam journey is delayed causing you to miss a connection, this service allows you to board the next train without changing your ticket, provided the connection takes place in one of the Railteam hubs.

On-board information: While on a train you can get information about your next Railteam connection from the train managers, such as what time it will depart and from which platform. You can also print station maps off from the Railteam website to help you find your connection.
