Eurostar ticket prices and conditions

Adult fares
Direct one-way ticket prices on our routes between Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

Children's fares
Fares for children aged 4 to 11 years old are approximately 50% cheaper in Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus. This does not apply to Eurostar Premier.
Children under 4 (in Eurostar Standard, Plus and Premier) can travel for free, provided they can sit on an adult's lap.
Exchange and refund conditions for tickets of children up to 11 years old are the same as the exchange and refund conditions of the ticket of the accompanying adult.
Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus
Exchange
You can change the date and/or time of your ticket with no fee up until one hour before your original departure time. You can’t change your destination.
You can also exchange your ticket to upgrade to Eurostar Plus. Upgrades to Eurostar Premier are not allowed.
Please be aware:
a) if the cost of your new ticket is more than the cost of your original ticket, you will need to pay the difference;
b) if the cost of your new ticket is less than the cost of your original ticket, you will not receive a refund of the difference.
Tickets that are exchanged less than seven days before the departure date to a new later departure date will in all circumstances become non-refundable.
Refund
Tickets are refundable seven days or more before the date of departure for a fee. The fee is £/€25 per person for each individual leg of the trip, and £/€50 per person for a full refund of a return ticket.
Tickets are non-refundable:
a) less than seven days before the date and time of departure, and/or
b) if the ticket has been exchanged less than seven days before the departure date to a new, later departure date.
Eurostar Premier
Exchange
You can exchange the departure date and/or time of your ticket up until 48 hours after your original departure time with no fee. You can’t change your destination.
If the cost of your new ticket is more than the cost of your original ticket, you will be required to pay the difference.
If the cost of your new ticket is less than the cost of your original ticket, you will not receive a refund of the difference.
Refund
Tickets are refundable with no fee up until 48 hours after your original departure time. Tickets are non-refundable more than 48 hours after your original departure time.
Our boarding guarantee
With our boarding guarantee, if your plans change, we guarantee you can board any other available train on your day of departure at no extra charge. Just log on to the app to exchange. You won’t pay the fare difference even if your new train is more expensive. If you wish to travel on a train that is listed as not available on the app, you can come to the station and our team will do their best to find any last-minute availability.
We can’t guarantee specific seats, the same travel class or the same onboard services such as catering.
Please note, our train managers always reserve the right to deny boarding on any train for safety reasons.

If you’re booking in advance, all our tickets across our entire network are now released at the same time, rather than some being available earlier than others. It makes connections easier to plan on our expanded network between United Kingdom, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany. Whether you’re looking to hop from capital to capital or take your time to explore, your perfect adventure awaits.
Service fees
For Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus bookings made over the phone or at the station, the service fee is €14 per transaction.
Eurostar Premier travellers aren’t charged as the fee is included in the price of their ticket. Members of Carte Blanche and Étoile - levels of our Club Eurostar rewards programme - aren’t charged either.

Fares for children aged 4 to 11 years old are approximately 30% cheaper in Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus on trains during peak travel periods, with a discount of approximately 30% to 50% available on trains during off-peak travel periods. This does not apply to Eurostar Premier.

Ticket gates and checks – closure times and fees
If you arrive after the ticket gates or checks close, we reserve the right to not allow you to board your train. If you’ve arrived before your train’s departure time, you can ask at the ticket office for a seat on the next available train. If there’s space, we’ll rebook your ticket and you’ll need to pay a €50 fee if you are travelling in Eurostar Standard or Eurostar Plus.
