Eurostar companion fares

If you’re travelling as a companion to someone with a disability or reduced mobility, you may be able to benefit from our reduced fares.

Important

If you or the person you’re travelling with needs free assistance to and from the train, please pre-book at least 24 hours before departure.

Travel in comfort with a companion fare

The comfort of our passengers is at the heart of everything we do at Eurostar. If you’re travelling as a companion to someone with a disability or reduced mobility, you can benefit from our discounted companion fares.

If you’re travelling with a wheelchair user

We have dedicated wheelchair spaces on board. Both you and the person you’re assisting can book tickets on our eurostar.com.

You’ll sit together in our Eurostar Plus or Eurostar Premier coaches on our London routes and in our Eurostar Premier coach for all other routes.

To be eligible, the companion must accompany you for the whole journey.

You can only book one companion fare in conjunction with a wheelchair user fare on our website, eurostar.com. If you require additional companions, please contact our service centre to discuss your requirements and make a booking.

If the person you’re assisting is not a wheelchair user

If you can still benefit from our companion fares. But you’ll need to contact us directly to discuss your needs and make a booking.

Need to change your journey?

Not a problem, we know life can be unpredictable. You can exchange the departure date and/or time of your ticket with no fee up until one hour before your original departure time.
