Eurostar and Thalys have become one

Welcome to a new era for European train travel

Hello and a warm welcome to the new-look Eurostar – we’ve relaunched with a brand new website and app!

Thalys is now Eurostar. And that means one single rail network connecting France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK.

What does this mean for our customers?

Great deals on a larger network of routes

We now offer great deals on a larger network that includes high-speed direct and indirect routes across France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

That means connections to a wider range of European destinations, including Antwerp, Cologne and Düsseldorf, as well as the cities we’ve always served, such as London, Paris and Brussels. In winter, we’re also operating our Eurostar Snow service to ski destinations including Chambéry, Albertville, and Moûtiers, and in summer, we run services to the sunny south of France including Marseilles and Avignon.

We’re launching a new website and app for easier booking – and will soon be unveiling a combined reward programme for all our customers, Club Eurostar.

A streamlined booking system

We've now got a single website, a single ticket booking system and a single app – all with a sleek new look. You can book the very best deals through a smoother, rebranded booking system.

Same outstanding service

The service at our stations and on board is as friendly and welcoming as ever, but your travel experience is now a little different depending on which route you join us on. Don’t worry though. Whether you’re travelling from London to Amsterdam, Brussels to Cologne, or Paris to Antwerp, we’ll get you from city centre to city centre in complete comfort.

More opportunities to earn points with Club Eurostar

We’ve also launched the new-look Club Eurostar, our joint reward programme. Everyone can join and enjoy even more rewards and benefits from travelling on our expanded network.

Frequently asked questions

On our new network, you can catch direct or indirect trains to Antwerp, Liège, Cologne, Aachen, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Essen, Duisburg, Disneyland® Paris, Düsseldorf Airport, Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and Schiphol Airport. In winter, you can also travel on our Eurostar Snow service to ski resorts in the French Alps with stops in Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne, Landry and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, while in summer, we run services to Valence, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, and Marseille.

These are all in addition to our long-standing destinations of London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Lille.

There is no difference - Eurostar and Thalys are now one under the Eurostar name. Our high-speed trains link the UK to France, Belgium and the Netherlands via the Channel Tunnel. And we also run high-speed trains connecting Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands. All our trains will keep their respective shades of red and blue, but all are now operating under the Eurostar brand.

Our booking process is now smoother, as everyone can book direct or indirect trains across our expanded network of destinations in one single place – Eurostar’s new website or app.

Different policies apply depending on the route you join us on. For example, the time to arrive at the station, the travel documents to carry and the luggage allowance, along with other policies, are different across our routes. No matter which route you choose, you’ll be able to find all the relevant travel planning information on eurostar.com.

Yes. Our direct services remain for travel between London and Paris, Brussels, Lille, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. All other destinations are indirect, so you’ll need to catch a connecting train.

We know how important quality service is to all our customers. And the service at our stations and on board will be as friendly and welcoming as ever.

You can find more information about any of these topics and more by visiting our Help Centre.
