Work or relax in perfect peace

Whether you want the perfect start to your holiday, or you need a focused few hours to finish your work, we’ll make your Eurostar Premier journey the best it can be. That starts with extra legroom, spacious tables and big comfy reclining seats in our dedicated Eurostar Premier coach.

Routes to/from London only

Our dedicated Eurostar Premier lanes close 15 minutes before departure in London, Paris, Lille, and Brussels, and 20 minutes before departure in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Simply scan your ticket, then breeze straight through security and passport control.

Flexible tickets

You can exchange your ticket as many times as you want or get a refund with no fee up to 2 days after departure. If your new ticket is more expensive, you will pay the difference. If your new ticket is cheaper, you won’t receive a refund of the difference. Travel doesn’t come more flexible than this.

Boarding guarantee

Routes between France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany

With our boarding guarantee, it’s now even easier to change your travel plans. You can board any other train on your day of departure at no extra charge, even if it is fully booked and we cannot guarantee you a seat. You’ll no longer pay the difference in fare if your new train is more expensive. And for the first time, you can change your travel plans on our app. If your new train is full, our station team will assist you.

Routes to/from London

With our boarding guarantee, if your plans change, we guarantee you can board any other train on your day of departure at no extra charge, even if Eurostar Premier is full. Just log on to the app to exchange. You won’t pay the fare difference even if your new train is more expensive. If Eurostar Premier class on your new train is full, our station team will assist you.

On all our routes, we can’t guarantee specific seats, the same travel class or the same onboard services such as catering. Although of course, our team will do their best!

Generous luggage allowance

Whether you’re being whisked away for a romantic weekend or exploring the city with the whole family, there’s no need to travel light.

Each adult can take three pieces of luggage (up to 85cm long on our routes to and from London or 75cm on all other routes), as well as one small piece of hand luggage. Plus, there are no restrictions on liquids so you can take your favourite toiletries (and a bottle of bubbly for the journey).

Go greener with Eurostar

Taking the train emits on average 90% less CO₂ than going by car or 95% less than taking a plane*. And there’s no sitting in traffic or hanging around at baggage carousels. So, you can see more of Europe with a smaller carbon footprint.

*The analysis by EcoRes uses average CO₂ emissions per passenger travelling 1km. The calculations used 2022 internal data from the entire Eurostar-Thalys network (annual consumption of traction electricity, number of passengers transported, number of km travelled by these passengers), and CO₂ emission factors attributed to traction electricity produced in the respective countries crossed. For thermal cars, the emissions factor used is average for a combustion-powered car (averaged fuel) on a long-distance journey at 171gCO₂/km considering 2.2 person per car, taken from the ADEME (French Agency for Ecological Transition) Carbon Base. Calculations for the average CO₂ emissions per passenger for flights used combustion emissions from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) calculator, with additional upstream emissions data (WTT) based on DGAC (direction Générale de l’aviation civile) ratio of 22%. Non-CO₂ effects (condensation trails and cirrus clouds) were not taken into account. More information on eurostar.com.​
