A holiday in Marseille is the perfect mix of city break and beach holiday. From the bustling city centre, the charming old quarters, the clamour of the Velodrome Stadium to the sandy beaches, Marseille is full of gems waiting to be discovered.
So why not hop on the Eurostar direct to Marseille and take a stroll in the Old City, discover the street art, scuba dive in the Calanques National Park or do a bouillabaisse-making class and learn to cook the local fish stew.

What city can boast having opened nearly 10 cultural venues in one year? And having put on over 550 events? The Festival de Marseille is held every summer (mid- June to mid-July) and features, wide range of performances such as contemporary dance, music, theatre as well as art workshops.
If you are in Marseille for Bastille Day events (14th July) Marseille's extravagant celebration is a must-see; from the parade and a grand ball to the firework display in the Vieux Port. Marseille was also elected European Capital of Sport in 2017 so no doubt Marseille still has many more surprises in store!
