Changing trains at Lille Europe when travelling to London
When you arrive at Lille Europe:
1. Get off your TGV INOUI or TER train and take a lift, escalator or the stairs up to the main station concourse.
2. Head straight to Eurostar departures in Hall 4. You’ll need to arrive before the ticket gates close. Ticket gates close:
- 30 minutes before departure in Eurostar Standard and Plus
- 15 minutes before departure in Eurostar Premier
3. Scan your ticket’s QR code and go through passport control.
4. Go through security with your luggage.
5. Board your train to London.

Arriving at St Pancras International station
Your train will arrive right in the heart of London at St Pancras International, one of the most elegant stations in the world. As border checks take place before departure, you can simply hop off the train and leave the station.
St Pancras International is well connected to Underground lines and buses. There's also a black cab stand right outside and King's Cross station is just across the road if you have a connecting train.

FAQs
When travelling from the south of France, you'll need to use public transport to travel between Gare de Lyon and Paris Gare du Nord when changing trains. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Here's what to do:
- When you arrive at Gare de Lyon, buy a ticket at a ticket machine or a ticket desk. If the queues are long, you can also buy a ticket using the Île-de-France Mobilités or Bonjour RATP app.
- Follow signs to RER Line D and board a train towards Orry-la-Ville – Coye, Goussainville or Villiers-le-Bel (Gonesse - Arnouville).
- Get off the train at Paris Gare du Nord.
- Follow signs for Grandes Lignes.
- If you're travelling to Brussels, Amsterdam or Rotterdam, find your platform and board your Eurostar train 10 minutes before departure.
- If you’re travelling on to the UK, follow signs for 'Hall 2/London departures' up to the first-floor mezzanine. Please ensure you get there before the ticket gates close – you’ll need to allow enough time to go through security and passport control.

As we're part of the HOTNAT scheme, rest assured that we'll help you get to your final destination if you miss your connecting train. Speak to a member of staff on your delayed train.
